Tedd Patterson crafts a track that literally grabs you around the throat and commands you to dance. Dominant, growling funk electronic bass-line meets esoteric guitar touches, early Prince synth lines and a female vocal melody that is sleazy and sexy, energetic and catchy all in the space of a verse and chorus.
The MKL dub is an altogether lighter, feel good affair. Jaunty analog synth lines jump around a simmering reggae/house groove
that could well become a dance floor anthem in its own right.
